Gerald Vess - - President-CEO

I have been in the transmission industry since my father open USA Transmissions in 1981. I started as an apprentice (Floor sweeper and Parts cleaner):) and worked my way up. As years passed I moved up to removing and replacing transmissions then to rebuilding transmissions. When I finally had enough time under my belt, I moved to management where I found my home in the business. I ran the business for my father for about ten years before we decided I should take over and let him semi-retire. I have owned the business for a few years now and have since opened new facilities in Huntsville,Lufkin,Conroe and Cleveland Texas with my brother Gary Vess Jr. Our plan is to open more stores and change the way the auto repair industry is viewed. Gary Vess Jr. - Vice-President / COO

My story is a lot the same as my brother Gerald's. We both have been working beside my father since we both could push a broom.:) We both worked our way through the system to get to the position we wanted. Management! We both enjoy the challenges that come our way daily, as in helping our customers, friends and family get there vehicles repaired and get to move on in there lives with the things they love. Gary Vess Sr. - Founder

This is my father Gary Vess Sr. which founded our company in 1981. He sold me the business a few years back and has semi-retired but I wanted to have him here to show my appreciation for all he has done in the past for me and all the employees that are involved here at USA Transmissions. If it wasn't for him having a dream of being a business owner and wanting to provide a service to the community who knows where my employees and I would be today! Thanks dad for all the years and late hours of hard work that put us where we are today.
